How to Maintain and Clean PVC Vinyl Flooring ?
PVC vinyl flooring available in a wide range of colors, designs, and styles, vinyl tiles are easy to cut and install by the average do-it-yourselfer, especially when the tiles feature self-adhesive backing.It is popular because it’s affordable but also it’s so easy to care for compared to hardwood floor. Pets? Kids? Heavy Traffic? No problem! It can stand up to a lot abuse, pets nails and messes , even in high-traffic areas of a house, but it still needs care and cleaning to keep it looking its best. Today we will share some tips about how to maintain and clean PVC vinyl flooring.
1. First, vacuum or dry mop the floor to remove dust, hair and dirt.
2. Use everyday dish soap.And use a mop that you are comfortable using and if you’ve got a mud room with dirt buildup.
It is OK to use a mop with a little scrub brush. However, be sure there are no wires or aggressively stiff bristles as it can damage your floor.
3. Remember to rinse your flooring after you use a soap/water mixture. Fill a bucket with plain water and run your damp mop over your vinyl plank floor.
A little soap, water, and mop will bring your PVC vinyl flooring back to life in no time at all!
If your vinyl flooring needs a little more of a deep clean.
1. Add just a little white vinegar into a warm bucket of water.
2. Take your mop and combine the dish soap with the white vinegar; this will liven up your vinyl flooring.
Please note: the abrasive cleaners and wired brushed scrubbing pads should not be used on PVC vinyl flooring.
