Maybe it’s not the quality problem, but what causes floor deformation and how to solve it?
Problem one: wet-bulging arch
Causes analysis:
1.The moisture can’t drain out because of continuous rain
2.The wood floor has been soaked in water
3.The indoor environment is damp and unventilated
4.The moisture content of the floor bottom ground is high
5.No floor expansion joints, resulting in no space to squeeze
6.Single floor area is large
Preventive measures: Often open the window for ventilation, structural extension joints,segmental joints and adjustment space of adjacent plates are reserved for extension seam according to the regulations.
Solution: Taking the measures of dismantling, resurfacing the floors partly or totally, adjusting the sectional seam and the adjacent plate.Problem one: wet-bulging arch
Problem two: floor cracking
Causes analysis:
1.The moisture content of wooden floor is too big or too low may cause it appears dry shrink or wet bilge when climate change is big.
2.The sun insolates or long term wind blows makes wood floor appear dry shrink phenomenon
3.The floor expand because of damp , the moisture content increasing so that the wet bilge phenomenon appears.
Preventive measures: choose the floor of good quality production enterprise,so that the adhesion of its paint film, elasticity, wear resistance can be guaranteed.
Solution: a small amount of paint film cracking can be repaired by touch-up.
If craze area is big, it can be grinded smoothly before repainting. If the cracks of the lacquer flim is long, the single piece o f floor can be changed.
Problem three: Warping and Deformation
Causes analysis:
1. The moisture content of the bottom ground is too high.
2. Without normal waterproof moistureproof processing.
3. The moisture content of the keel skeleton is too high.
4. The floor has been soaked with water.
Preventive measures: the concrete base shall meet the moisture content requirement before construction, the moisture-proof isolation layer must be paved if the moisture content exceeds the standard and it must be sealed overall and waterproof and moisture-proof isolation blocking measures must be taken.
Solution: the seriously deformed floor should be replaced and the surrounding wood boards of the not serious one should be removed to drain moisture.The objects with high moisture content in the surrounding environment should be treated with dehumidification.
Problem four: dry shrink and seperate seam.
Causes analysis:
1. Under the continuously high temperature and ary and other abnormal environment,the floor dehumidificate too fast without any humidifying measures.
2. Long time sun explosure, wind and other abnormal environment factors will cause excessive dehumidification of wood floor shrinkage.
3. The room is closed for a longtime without supplement and the indoor air is dry.
4. When installed in wet weather and the pavement clearance is too large,the dry shrink and seperate seam will be larger when the air is dry.
Prevention measures: selection of better stability of floor materials and control the moisture content of floor in the balance requirement, calculate the seam between adjacent plates according the weather condition when installed, reserve a little space or leave no extension joints, prevent sun insolates, and avoid closing the door and the window at a very long time.
Solution: Wait a period of time that the moisture rate and the relative humidity in the air to balance, change the single piece, or completely disassemble and install again, setting adjacent plate extension joints as required.
