A Surface Handling Technology of PVC Floor-UV Coating

Normally, the main composition of PVC floor is UV coating, wear layer, decor film, middle layer and bottom layer. Except UV coating, the other composition are all actual materials which can been seen by our eyes. Some customers are confused what is UV coating? What is the function of UV coating? How should they know if the floor has the UV coating? Here we introduce some information about UV coating. 

UV coating is a surface handling technology with a material named modified polyurethane, which function is to anti fouling, absorb ultraviolet rays, strengthen the wear resistance, anti scratch, anti fire, and easy to clean. Modified Polyurethane is a kind of non-poisonous organic compounds, which has the performance of good adhesion, dimensional stability and mildew resistance.

A floor with UV coating can strengthen its stability, rigidity, and the function of anti bacterial. It is also environmental friendly. With UV coating, it can delay the color fading and changing if the floor is exploded to direct sunlight.

But, How can we distinguish if the floor has UV coating? Here we inform you two methods: 

1、Use another objects which have UV coating to rub the floor surface with some pressure, if the floor surface is not scratched, then the floor has a good UV coating.

2、Use adhesive tape to stick on the floor surface, and quickly tear out the tape. If nothing is stick on the tape, then the floor has a good UV coating.
