Click floor refers to the floors that are installed by clicking with each other through mortise and tenon joint. By connecting with other floor in this natural way, click floor represents the state of art floor installation method. So what’s the real difference between them?

Solid Wood Click Floor

Raw Material: Including lumber, veneer, adhesive, edge banding agent, paint, wax,etc.,so there may contain formaldehyde and other poisonous gas material.

Price: Generally expensive. The price ranges from $30 to more per square meter

Eco-friendly: Use solid wood as raw material and have damage to the forest

Stability: not water proof; afraid of dampness; Floor shape will change with the temperature change

Installation: need to install keel first on sub-floor before floor installation. It comes with more endeavor and money

Thermal conducting: Wood don’t have a very good thermal conducting trait physically. Therefore, if installed above heating system, the ongoing vapor will be absorbed by the floor and cause fracture or warp eventually.

Stone Plastic Composite Click Floor

Raw Material: It mainly uses PVC(Poly Vinyl Chloride) and calcium carbonate. PVC is already an ubiquitous existence in our daily life. The PVC product ranges from toys, cutlery to medical instrument. Heat transfer: It has great heat conduct performance. And its stable structure allows it to be less affected by great temperature difference.

Sound Absorption: Can be attached with IXPE or EVA pad, which can alleviate noise from downstairs. This means a lot to people who are under a lot pressure and need a quiet environment.
